Babette Rosenbaum is a native of Essen/Germany. She grew up in Freiburg, Hamburg and at the Bergstraße. Initially she went to law school but switched into media industry to develop a special interest in film editing.
In the beginning she worked as an assistant editor for several movie- and tv-productions in Germany, The United States and Austria. Later followed by an education at the International Filmschool Cologne with well known instructors as James Haygood („Fight Club“), Barbara Hennings („Aimee and Jaguar“), Donn Cambern („Easy Rider“), as also Hans Beller („Handbuch der Filmgeschichte“) and Susan Korda („Vienna is different“).
In her filmography you will find films as :“Kippenberger – The Film“ and as a Co-Editor „The Lawyers – A German Story“, besides some WDR-productions she edited several tv shows for German Television.
Babette Rosenbaum lives in Cologne/Germany and edits digitally on AVID and Final Cut Pro.
